We are currently recruiting for a Senior Care Assistant on behalf of our client in Normanton who has a fantastic reputation for its well-established Care Home. The company has multiple homes across the area with a glowing reputation. Our client strives to deliver the highest standards of care within their homes and are seeking strong Senior Care Assistants with previous care experience to join their dedicated care team. Key details: These positions are in a 30 bedded Residential Care Home in Normanton that specialsies in elderly and dementia care. This is a full time, permanent role on days paying £8.81 per hour. This is working long shifts and 3.5 days per week. NVQ Level 3 is preferred although previous Senior experience is also highgly desirable. Senior Care Assistant Duties: To Supervise and participate in the delivery of care to residents To lead on the responsibility of residents individual care plans to ensure a person centres approach To provide leadership and support to the care staff Responsible for the administration of medication Maintain residents dignity and independence at all times As a senior care assistant you will be expected to lead by example at all times and provide strong leadership skills to the rest of the care assistants. You should have a strong work ethic and embody your care homes attitude towards delivering the highest standards of care.
