Overview
Reporting into the Operations Director, this role is a high-profile position within the organisation. The organisation are a growing medium-sized eCommerce/Multi-Channel Fulfilment business who are seeking someone with strong Parcel/Courier Carrier Management experience. THE ROLE: Carrier Management of Parcel Carriers and Couriers across the UK. Responsibility for significant carrier/courier spend. Agreement of SLA's with carrier/courier partners with regular performance reviews. Onboarding of new carrier/couriers where appropriate. Significant data analysis - utilising Excel and other systems in order to look at trends, forecasting and providing operational reports where appropriate. Engagement with high-profile blue-chip B2B customers. THE PERSON: A candidate with Parcel/Courier Carrier Management experience - ESSENTIAL Strong IT systems skills - including Excel (need to be comfortable with VLookUps, Pivot Tables & Formulas. - ESSENTIAL eCommerce/Multi-Channel/Omni-Channel experience - HIGHLY PREFERABLE Analytical mindset - can use systems and data in order to manage performance, look at trends, come up with operational forecasts etc. Able to understand complex problems and come up with bespoke solutions. Demonstrable Carrier/Courier sub-contraction P&L responsibility. Able to work autonomously and 'take the lead' in this role. Strong commercial acumen. Able to think beyond the obvious. Keen to leave an impact on this business and grow with it.
