Overview
The opportunity Project Zeta is looking for a Junior Java developer with a strong work ethic and problem-solving mindset to work on assignment for one of our Tier 1 clients. You will work with a senior software development team in delivering on their strategic technical roadmap. Your technical skills and delivery focus in an Agile environment will be key. You will learn and embrace new technologies as the journey progresses. Taking ownership of key development tasks will be necessary. Your project experience working to tight deadlines in Investment Banking will be helpful. What is Project Zeta? What we are looking for: ·Excellent software coding, documentation and analysis skills. ·Work experience in an Agile environment ·2-4 years Java 8 'working experience' ·SQL development experience – nice to have ·Experience of developing RESTful API's or similar ·Practical experience of web application development ·Practical experience of using GIT repository or similar ·Experience of HTML5/Javascript/css - nice to have ·Good awareness of leading-edge technologies ·Good knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle ·Ability to communicate both verbally and written, generate ideas and execute them effectively. ·Delivery focused and strong attention to detail ·Eligibility to work in UK at the time of starting the contract. Please note, we are not able to sponsor work visas.
