Facade Engineer / Consultant

Position - Facade Engineer Location - W. Midlands We are currently recruiting for a facade consultant / facade engineer to join a leading building envelope specialist company who have been established for over 30 years with long-term projects lined up and currently in operation. Ideally suited for someone currently working as a facade consultant/facade engineer or for someone who is looking to change career direction. Candidates must have experience of curtain wall / rain screen / unitised facades. A Masters Degree in Facade Engineering (or are interested in studying for the Masters and have a relevant degree level qualification) is preferred. In the role as a Facade Engineer/Consultant you will be involved from the early stages through to the completion of a project, which will allow you to take ownership and have a strong influence on the decision making process. The role will involve: Attending client meetings. Attending professional/design team meetings. Producing concept designs. Carrying out technical audits of façade subcontractor tenders. Visiting site to monitor and advise the subcontractor. Producing detailed technical reports.
