Group Finance Manager - CIMA, Manufacturing

You will play a key role in the expansion of the central finance team and the streamlining of financial processes. The role will involve the day-to-day management of the Group Finance team and provide accurate financial information to the business. This is a varied role that will be split between day to day finance duties including Management Accounts preparation, managing a finance team and controlling the budgeting process and 30% working on commercial aspects e.g contracts and money saving exercises with the Finance Director Role and responsibilities • Management of a team of 3-4 and controlling the finance function • Preparation of ancillary reports to support management accounts • Preparation of Group Annual accounts and management of external audit • Assist the preparation of annual budget • Review of VAT returns • Preparation of Group corporation tax • Provision of commercial guidance to company strategy • Ensure control of the balance sheet • Preparation of financial reports to assist commercial decision making Experience • CIMA qualified • Some experience in a manufacturing environment • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team • Advanced knowledge of Excel The business has strong growth aspirations and is therefore looking for a dynamic and ambitious individual to be part of the finance team to drive change and improve process.
