Overview
I am seeking an Assistant Project Manager to work on the Hs2 Programme, supporting the Business Manager delivering the Health and Safety (HSSE) Programme and to ensure the effective management of the directorate. The role will involve: - Contacting the HSSE Directorate and key reporting facilitators across Hs2- Collecting, verifying and analysing reporting data across the organisation producing informative and high quality reports for various internal governance and decision making forums- HSE Panel and HSE committee - Collecting and consolidating reports across the HSSE, and supporting meetings - Supporting finance processes in the directorate raising POs and monitoring spend against budget - HSSE Even planning, training events as part of the safety leadership programme Requirements: - Educated to degree level - Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint experiences - Planning0 manage own workload and contribute to high report delivery - Communication and stakeholder management skills written and verbal communication skills liaising with personnel across the organisation- Ability to query business information provided contributing to the narrative sections of reports- and convey information in an easily digestible manner - PM Qualification - APMP- Earned Value Analysis and Reporting understanding - Risk Management and Benefits Management experience Knowledge/ Experience: - Programme and project management techniques Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) foundation level; and Prince 2 Foundation level - SAP, Oracle or ERP system knowledge - Understanding of Health, Safety, Security or Environmental Management. The ideal candidate will have experience of programme and project coordination, planning and reporting within the rail or infrastructure sector in a Project Management/ Planning/ Scheduling role.
