Signalling Project Engineer Manchester £420/day LTD or £362/day Umbrella 6 months initial contract Our client is a well established Nationwide Rail company whose professionalism and well respected name have been instrumental in their success. They are looking for an experience Signalling Project Engineer with knowledge of axle counter renewals, Point machine replacement, signal head replacement and cable renewals. Responsibilities will include: ·To manage design and construction activities on a range of projects ·Managing so that appropriate engineering standards are used in relation to design and/or construction on allocated projects. ·Working with Guide to Railway Investment Projects (GRIP), relevant legislation, Group and company standards, and Network Rail procedures. ‘ The ideal candidate will have: Successful relevant experience in completion of various Signalling projects. •Technical qualifications to HNC/HND or equivalent GNVQ level. •Knowledge of quality assurance. •An understanding of the arrangements required for the independent assessment of work. •CDM, risk assessment, auditing internal and external competency.
