Senior Business Analyst Based in Sheffield Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 excellent benefits One of the UK's largest and foremost law firms is currently looking for an accomplished Business Analyst at their Sheffield HQ. The Role You would lead on a range of projects across the business, taking ownership and responsibility for identifying and tracing impacts and requirements, understanding business function capabilities, constructing business process models and contributing to the firm's operational and strategic goals. You would be expected to ensure that you understand the relationships between the impacts and interdependencies across the programme and be able to condense these complexities into the right level of detail to inform strategic decisions. As an experienced BA you will understand the importance of actively engaging with the business to analyse information needs and requirements and work at pace to deliver quality analysis and design documentation. The Candidate o A highly skilled and influential Business / Systems Analyst inspired by taking on challenging assignments o Thorough understanding of Tech, Information, Process, Organisational and People impacts and requirements o Able to build relationships with senior stakeholders, to elicit, elaborate and document their requirements o Excellent communication skills with a capacity to present, discuss and explain issues coherently and logically o Confidence to challenge the process or solution based on the outcome of the team's Analysis activities o Strong planning and organisation skills, including the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously o Resilient, able to work at pace in a technically complex and fast-changing environment o Ideally degree educated, computer science, information systems, business management o Systems analysis / development background would be beneficial (biztalk, .net) o Experience with data mapping and integration desirable The Company The 11th largest law firm in the UK, founded in 1912 and operating out of 14 UK offices with over 2,500 members of staff.
