Overview
Fork-Lift Field Service Engineer required. You will be based out of Peterborough. The role will involve the service, repair and installation of fork lift trucks along with other material handling plant. It is envisaged that the successful candidate will have previous experience working as a fork lift service engineer with electrical / mechanical knowledge. This role would suit a Service Engineer from a forklift, plant, HGV, Motor Vehicle or agricultural background looking for training on new and existing products with a chance to personally develop Field Service Engineer - FLT Position Overview Trouble shooting and repair of material handling and ancillary equipment (access equipment would be advantageous) Preventative maintenance of material handling and ancillary equipment Repair and maintenance of dock levelling systems. Accurately completing service reports, timesheets, PDA (tablet) service system. Managing and controlling van stock and company tooling. Building customer relationships through good levels of communication. Field Service Engineer - FLT Position Requirements Previous experience within a similar role Ability to fault find and repair forklifts to component level Electrical knowledge The ability to work independently and under pressure Strong organisational skills to manage workload according to priorities Field Service Engineer - FLT Position Remuneration Salary £24 - £26K OTE £30K per annum.
