Senior Night Export Clerk

Freightserve recruitment are looking for an experienced Export person for a large niche sector Freight / Courier company. The company is based in the Heathrow area Job Description:- An excellent opportunity for an experienced Air Freight Export Clerk to join a experienced Export department. The successful applicant will contribute to the development and smooth running of a busy Export Department. The role will include end to end management of the export process from the moment a job is created, and monitoring its progress through to its arrival. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Preparation, booking and tying off airway bills Checking flight details Creating customs declarations including NCTS entries Extensive communication with external service providers and government bodies Extensive use of a variety of internal and external IT systems Helping in the warehouse with deliveries and shipment processing when required Internal communications within the network and other UK departments Provide guidance to junior and support to senior staff Candidate Requirements At least 4 years of experience in air freight exports Fully compliant with all AvSec procedures. Current and valid security certification strongly preferred Thorough understanding of the export process The ability to take on new concepts A flexible approach and attitude Proven ability to work independently and as a team A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Excellent IT skills Outstanding customer service and communication skills The hours for this opportunity are 40 hours per week between the hours of 20:00 and 07:00 with some weekend work included.
