Quality Controller Wigan Permanent Thursday – Monday (40hours per week) £19,300 My client is a leading banana ripening and service provision supplier in the UK market with two ripening facilities strategically placed in the north and south of the country. The Group are committed to a strong and consistent CSR policy with over 18,000 employees, producing over 460,000 tonnes of fruit and vegetables, distributing over 673,000 tonnes of bananas and selling to over 45 countries globally. They are currently recruiting for a full-time/permanent Quality Controller to be based at our Wigan depot, working Thursday-Monday, 40 hours per week. Duties/responsibilities • Carry out quality inspections to the quality manual and customer specifications • Generate reports • Advise on quality issues • Complete positive release of outbound products Criteria • Enthusiastic to learn • Self motivated • Ability to meet targets and deadlines • Excellent communication skills • Attention to detail • Previous QC experience within the fresh produce industry Salary £19,300 plus excellent benefits Interpersonnel are operating as an Employment Agency for our client for this particular role.
