Materials Planner

Materials Planner required for a leading Manufacturer of bespoke components. Due to the on-going success and growth of the business our client requires an enthusiastic Materials Planner to join a dynamic and growing team. As the Materials Planner you will be responsible for the movement of work and materials across each department in line with the weekly/daily schedules. This will also include Liaising with supervisors to determine which stages of work you are at, and get a realistic expectation of when the jobs will be completed. Materials Planner Position Overview Meet customer expectations by making sure you achieve daily requirements prepare documents needed for production after analysis has been completed Data analysis and decision making to support raw material supply and finished goods demand Follow-up as required with all teams to expedite flow of materials and documents to meet production schedule and customer expectation. Liaise with stores regarding kitting of works orders Creating sales orders Creating scheduled purchase orders Input schedules & create goods receipts Maintain monthly KPI's for the team Materials Planner Position Requirements Previous experience within a similar position (materials planning or production) To have attention to detail and reliability, as well as being able to problem solve. Hardworking and efficient To be able to work well in a team as well as independently Being able to priorities workload The ability to work well and accurately in a time-constrained environment Good written and verbal communication skills Materials Planner Position Remuneration Salary £18,000 - £21,000 (Dependant on experience) Monday - Friday - Full time 28 days' holiday, including bank Pension and parking on site Bennett & Game Recruitment are acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
