IT Software Project Manager - Laboratory Due to expansion an opportunity exists for a high calibre individual with IT Software Project management experience who is keen to fuel their career with a TOP Global business contender. Based out of their European Head Office in South Manchester, we are now seeking an IT Software Project Manager. The Company Our client is a global market leading business that provides management systems either standard or bespoke for Laboratory. Web-based, off the shelf, LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) designed for a wide variety of laboratory types operating in many scientific and industrial disciplines including government and NHS. Our client specialise in consolidating disparate business processes into a single, compliant platform with comprehensive reporting, surveillance and networking capabilities. The Ideal Project Manager Will… Develop, execute and manage IT projects within the defined scope Measure performance to assure healthy progress and provide project progress reports Thrive in a supportive and friendly working environment and will have stretch to move into bigger projects with time. Project Planning - work with business and IT management to establish project goals, objectives and deliverables. Be aware of compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional policies and procedures Manage complex projects from design & development to production. Define resources & the schedule for project implementation. Creates strategies for RISK mitigation and contingency planning. Works with the project engineering team & the Business Unit Manager to manage and diffuse any potential conflicts within the group. Maybe you will have experience of working in IT, Forensic, Pharmaceuticals, NHS / government or simply software Project management. The Ideal Software Project Manager Will Have… Ability to influence at all levels. Bachelor's Degree in business, Computer Science or related discipline At least 3 years' experience in project management, business systems analysis or software development Persuasive yet supportive attitude LIMS Experience - Ideal but not essential Knowledge of SQL compliant databases especially Oracle or SQL server Experience of the following: Prince 2, IT Project Management, Laboratory workflows Full Driving License and willing to travel (maybe 1 night a week overnight) The Training & Benefits Benefits: £35,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience) Exceptional Benefits Training Extensive introductory training and further ongoing training is provided If this sounds like the role for you, APPLY NOW
