Procurement Officer - Corporate & Professional services

I am currently recruiting a Procurement Officer (Corporate and Professional Services) for a well known public sector organisation. The role can be based in Lewes of Guildford (but you must be able to travel between the 2 sites) - They is also the opportunity to work from home on occassions. To aggregate expenditure , let, monitor and report upon the status of all services / business contracts and manged by the Joint Procurement Service, Establish relationships with key departments top ensure that contracting needs are identified and strategies in place to meet business objectives Implement national / regional contracting initiatives and represent the business at national / regional level for your commodity area. Minimise the risk to the business through ensuring robust contracts are in place and minimise commercial risk Essential experience to be successful in this role Experience of managing the tender process in either a public sector or similar procedure focused environment. Minimum of 1 year. Fully CIPS qualified OR commitment to complete MCIPS status Mature stakeholder engagement skills that enable them to build relationships with staff at all levels Strong persuasion skills to ensure credibility Confident to manage projects and work on your own initiative Apply now for more details
