Overview

Infrastructure Engineer FPSG are working with a long term client who require an Infrastructure Engineer for a minimum of 9 month FTC (high likely hood of extension and opportunity to go permanent). The Infrastructure Engineer role covers the day-to-day, 'business as usual' tasks to support all backend IT systems. This role will provide hands-on 3rd line operational support for IT systems as well as providing implementation support for any new systems or technologies. Please note interviews for this role will be carried and by telephone and VC and with the hiring process remaining uninterrupted. Role responsibilities: Monitoring of all servers and infrastructure applications Support of Microsoft BackOffice products 3rd Line support of all VMWare infrastructure 3rd Line support of all VMWare VDI infrastructure Support and maintain all back office systems in both physical and virtual environments Configuration of Active Directory services, Group Policies, as well as anti-virus and web servers. Skills and experience required; Experience working at a 3rd Line Support level for Server and Infrastructure Experience working remotely, support global office functions. Microsoft Back Office products Microsoft Active Directory 2008 Windows 2008/2012 Server and supporting technologies such as DNS,WINS,DHCP Vmware vSphere Significant relevant work experience in a similar role Understanding of LAN / WAN technologies.
