Overview

Credit Controller - Stirling We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced full time Credit Controller to join our business, Ogilvie Fleet Ltd a major subsidiary of the Ogilvie Group. You will be based in Stirling Head Office. You will be responsible for the recovery of outstanding debtors on our ledger and support to the Sales Ledger Department. The role of Credit Controller will work within an established team providing excellent customer service whilst collecting outstanding debtors on the ledger, you will be responsible for the following: Chase and recover all debts due within the agreed terms and conditions Respond and resolve all customer queries within a timescale to bring satisfactory conclusion Develop relationships with accounts contacts Liaise and communicate effectively with other departments within the business to resolve any issues or queries Produce monthly Excel reports to support invoicing Manage and process bad debt write offs Manage and conclude the ledger and claims to any Administrators Provide cover to the Sales Ledger to ensure timescales are met Skills/Experience Required: Excellent confident communication skills both in person and via telephone Experience in Sales Ledger/Credit Control Ability to convey clear and concise information and instruction both written and verbally Ability to work within a team and on own initiative Flexibility and the ability to prioritise to meet deadlines with good planning/organisation skills IT competent with good interpersonal skills Work standards: set a high standard of performance for self and others Maintain confidentiality of information handled Ideal candidate: You will be a proactive and enthusiastic member of the team and have proven communication skills. You will have excellent organisational skills, be able to negotiate and build relationships. Good Microsoft office skills, in particular Excel and Outlook are essential. Hours of work: 9.00am – 5.00pm (1hr lunch) The position offers a remuneration package commensurate with experience and qualifications including profit share, pension, free life assurance and generous holidays.
