Commercial Litigation Solicitor Liverpool £DOE My client is a top tier law firm looking to secure a candidate within their Commercial Litigation department in Liverpool. The role of the Commercial Litigation Solicitor will be to assist with a varied caseload within the Commercial Litigation team from inception to conclusion. Duties for the Commercial Litigation Solicitor will include but are not limited to; Client liaison in person, in writing and over the telephone Communicate with clients, litigants in person, solicitors, counsel, courts and all other interested parties Drafting and proofing documents Instructing Counsel and expert Preparation of reports to clients Negotiation Business development including preparation of articles and insights Undertake appropriate additional tasks provided by the other members of the team May be asked to go on secondment to support our client relationships Candidate Requirements for Commercial Litigation Solicitor; A real interest in and enthusiasm for commercial litigation Able to work as a team player assisting across the team including as needed in Manchester as well as able to work independently Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships internally and externally Demonstrates an understanding of client's needs/expectations to meet client protocols/agreed service levels Excellent organisational and time management skills including ability to plan and prioritise work appropriately so that deadlines are met Excellent attention to detail Adheres to guidelines, procedures and ethics Demonstrates the firm's values
