Overview
Seven Social Care are looking for a number of temporary Resource Workers to work in Middlesbrough. These positions are initially for a 3 month period and will be paying £11.00 per hour via an umbrella company. The role: To work directly with children, young people and their families and cares to deliver support and services, which promote change and development and meet physical, emotional, intellectual, behavioral, health, social and cultural needs. This may include working with children with challenging behaviour, moderate to severe disability, and complex health needs. Key Responsibilities: Follow Care/Support Plans and any other plans in place for the child, including safeguarding plans, health plans and behavioral plans. Attend relevant meetings related to children, families and carers including review, and planning meetings. Complete appropriate reports, recording and documentation, including recording on the computer database. Use other information technology and associated systems as needed. Work directly with children, young people, their families and carers in a range of settings, including homes where conditions may be below acceptable standards to ensure that children and young people are safe and promote change and development. Applicant Requirements: Qualifications: N/A. Experience: 2 years working within a similar role. Compliance: Current DBS check. Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently. Hours: 37.5 hours p/w.
