Excellent Accounts/Bookkeeping opportunity UK based fashion, design and manufacturing business Leicester (on-site parking) Full-time (6 months FTC) Hourly rate negotiable Immediate start The Company A UK based design, manufacturing, brand licensing, and order fulfilment partner to brands who want to feature customised clothing and merchandise through any combination of online retail, bricks and mortar retail, wholesale distribution, and promotional activity The Role We’re looking for someone to come and join the accounts team. This role requires working knowledge of bookkeeping and previous experience of working in this area of a business. Key responsibilities; Develop and coordinate multiple campaigns at one time, often to tight deadlines Sales ledger, raising of invoices / allocation of payments / raising of information to invoice finance provider, as well as all day to day liaison with the company’s invoice finance provider and customers Credit control, collection of outstanding debt, pre-legal handling Reconciliation and production of ledger reports for management as required Purchase ledger, matching and coding of invoices, statement recs Working with the merchandising and sales team to ensure supplier and customer issues are resolved quickly and appropriately Working with company accountant to support preparation of company month end management accounts Query handling The Person Excellent communication and organisational skills Analytical and numerical, as well as creative and innovative thinker Ability to analyse and act upon audience data and information Demonstrable accounts / credit control experience in a commercial environment Skills: excellent communication, customer service experience with good attention to detail Knowledge of MS Excel / Office products / email and Sage is essential as are strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team in a vibrant environment Experience within the textile and clothing sector is required as are previous demonstratable role(s) as bookkeeper / accounts assistant within similar sized businesses Qualifications: possible accounting qualification (or currently working towards) customer service / administration If this sounds like you, get in touch and applytoday.
