Engineering Manager / Software / Mobile / IOS / Android / Web / Java Rate: £575 - £600 per day Central London Circa 3-6-month initial contract Leading publishing organisation based in an excellent location are looking to add an Engineering Manager to their established team. Ideally looking for some experience managing mobile dev or web / software engineering teams. The client is happy for this role to be predominately hands off, but any hands-on tech skills would be useful. Please apply for a job spec and client information. Responsibilities / Skills Stack include apps using Objective-C, Swift and Java Focus towards performance, scalability, maintainability, device compatibility, and user experience. As an Engineering Manager, you'll be working with a group of developers that are endeavouring to create a cutting-edge product. The team consists of iOS, Android, backend and front-end developers. This role requires strong line management experience including coaching, encouraging, recognizing strengths and weaknesses, developing their skillsets and mentoring. Any previous experience of a developer in a commercial environment within the above tech stack would be highly desirable Prioritisation of the team’s day to day activities
