Overview

Job Summary Care UK are currently looking for a Bank Healthcare Assistant to join our team at the Diagnostic Centre in High Wycombe to cover variable hours mainly over weekends and occasional weekdays/evenings. This role will be based within a busy working environment offering patients a range of Diagnostic Imaging Procedures. It requires an individual with the ability to work effectively as a multi professional team member within a fast pace environment. The successful applicant will have excellent customer service and effective communication skills. Responsibilities Provide support to the Radiographers/Sonographers and other members of the Diagnostic Imaging team in providing a safe and caring environment for all patients undergoing a diagnostic procedure. Maintain equipment,scanning rooms and waiting area as well as undertake administrative duties. To be aware of, and comply with, the Health and Safety at Work Act reporting all accidents/incidents while assisting the team in achieving optimal outcomes for patient care. Provide clear information to patients regarding scanning procedures. Requirements •Experience of working in a customer care environment and able to communicate well with excellent customer service skills. •Able to work effectively as part of a team as well as prioritise own work load . •Knowledge of basic patient care •Ability to carry out tasks in a busy environment and follow instruction with a willingness to learn. •A knowledge of basic IT skills although onsite training will be provided About Care UK Care UK was founded in 1982.
