Overview
We are seeking to appoint Casual Youth Workers (Special Programmes) to work as part of our Youth Work team in Coventry. You will join us on a casual contract and in return receive a competitive salary of £10.77 per hour. Working closely with the Youth Work Co-ordinators the successful applicants will have experience of planning, delivering and leading on sessions, both in an open access youth club setting and in outreach projects. As the Youth Worker role may present some challenges to staff and young people, you will have knowledge of carrying out appropriate risk assessments and resolving issues as they arise and where necessary reporting concerns around safeguarding in a timely manner. To succeed in the Youth Worker role, you will not only have a passion for working with young people, but be dedicated and proactive in sourcing suitable sessions and be willing to work at different locations to help build effective and meaningful relationships with young people.
