Job Purpose Mazars Outsourcing Team This vacancy is a fantastic opportunity for an individual to join our Financial Outsourcing team following your completion of secondary education or college. There is no previous accounting knowledge required for the position as full training will be provided from our supportive and friendly team, all we require is your enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. The Financial Outsourcing team offers great opportunities to liaise directly with clients, and to be part of a rapidly expanding team. You will have the opportunity to contribute to and share in the success of this team, gain experience of cloud accounting and provide a high quality service to our clients. We provide both support and training for you which is identified through our regular appraisal and feedback process, enabling us to set achievable objectives for you to work towards. Job Role Initially the role will involve a large amount of training, shadowing our more senior transactional staff until you are comfortable with our systems and processes. Some of the tasks involved in the role are; • Providing basic book keeping to clients including; bank reconciliation work, supplier invoice processing, sales invoice processing and VAT return preparation. • Working closely with more senior members of the team to ensure all book keeping is complete to allow management account preparation. • Liaising with client suppliers to ensure they are paid on time. • Implementation of cloud technology and associated apps to provide great service to our clients. • Occasional ad-hoc administrative task Person Specification • School or college leaver • Excellent organizational skills essential • Excellent verbal communication skills • Strong numerical/analytical skills • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Microsoft Excel • Keen interest in Finance What’s in it for you This is a unique opportunity to join a fast growing financial outsourcing team within a large global accounting firm, and a truly exciting opportunity to make your mark and progress your career in a growing global business.
