Overview
A new opportunity has arisen with a specialist care provider – they are looking for Deputy Managers in Doncaster to help manage their supported living services. They are currently going through lots of change and provide support for people with Learning Disabilities and complex physical needs – so it is crucial these people and the staff teams are supported effectively through this challenging period. This is a well established charity and the services are rated ‘good’ with CQC. They are looking for someone whose experience is mainly in supported living – they need someone who is highly competent in this setting who can hit the ground running. Salary: circa £25,000 depending on experience These are initially temporary or fixed term contract roles, with a view to going perm 37.5 hrs per week Key Responsibilities – To ensure service specific regulatory, legislative and contractual obligations for the provision of social care services are met, as per current requirements. To carry out all aspects of the role within the guidance of the Organisation’s vision, mission, ethos and values, enabling the people we support to maximise their independence, choice and control, acting as a role model and practice leader to the teams. In the absence of the Locality Manager to deputise for them and assume full charge of the service. To ensure that you have processes and procedures in place to ensure the prevention and control of infection. To ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibility for the prevention and control of infection.
