Overview

A fantastic opportunity for a Credit Controller in the Batley area has arisen. The role has come about due to continued growth which has seen the business double their turnover in recent years. This position reports direct into the Finance Manager and will see the successful candidate take responsibility for their own ledger, chasing over £500,000 per month. Full training will be provided along with excellent long term opportunities to progress and develop within the business. The role suits an individual who is comfortable working in a fast paced environment and involves working to multiple deadlines. As the Credit Controller you will have responsibility for the following: Chasing outstanding monies within agreed terms. Hit and exceed the required collection rate targets. Working towards KPI's. Regularly contacting customers to ensure payments are made within the agreed terms. Looking after a ledger of around 500 live accounts. Setting up new accounts/checking credit records/maintaining client records. Following the company's cash collection policies and procedures. Accurately allocating payments onto the customer's sales ledger. Dealing with complex customer queries. Other ad-hoc tasks as required. The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience of the start to finish credit control process. Excellent communication skills. Strong Excel skills. The ability to work under pressure and in a fast paced, target orientated credit control environment. A positive, determined approach to collecting outstanding monies.
