Purchasing & Stock Control Supervisor Our client is actively looking for a experienced Purchasing & Stock Control Supervisor with immediate start. This is a great company to work in with plenty of parking on site. They do not have a large turn around of staff. Hours of work is 9am to 5pm You will manage the end to end supply chain ordering processes and stock control records. What you will be doing as a Purchasing & Stock Control Supervisor Accountable for the management of all stock ordering processes, raising orders, receipting in deliveries where necessary, cross checking invoices against raise PO’s. Accountable for ensuring all orders are fulfilled to the correct service level agreements by supply chain Ensure effective stock management throughout the end to end supply chain Accountable for resolving any stock queries/problems in the most efficient and effective way possible Manage proactive and reactive communications regarding stock management Negotiate with suppliers for best prices/services/materials. Review suppliers on suitability and continue supply/QC. Schedule in materials, on a just in time bases Forecasting on materials based on purchase history Review spending Budgeting for the buying season Ensure receipted orders are on the system with 24hrs of receipt. Handling material QC issues with the supply chain. Seek out new suppliers and vetting current ones. Building supplier relationships. What we are looking for in the Purchasing & Stock Control Supervisor Supply chain ordering processes knowledge Price and contract negation skills Experience working within B2B Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Attention to detail, with good numeric skills Familiar with Sage and OrderWise an advantage – training will be given.
