IT Support Manager

About Us The Together Trust cares for and champions the rights, needs and ambitions of children, adults and families who need additional support. Every year we support thousands of people who have autism, learning disabilities or complex needs to lead happy, fulfilled lives. We are now looking for an IT Support Manager to join us at our central office in Cheadle, Stockport. About you You will be someone with a successful track record in managing effective IT support systems. We have a 900 strong workforce who are supported by a small IT team of whom you will line manage. You will act as a primary contact to deliver effective day to day support and manage network security Other duties: Conduct effective risk assessments and develop mitigation plans. Produce service reports in a standard format in an agreed time frame. Supervise and direct team members for timely completion of assigned projects. Conduct team meetings on regular basis to discuss about project issues and status. Work with the team to develop problem management and service improvement plans. Improve the delivery of accurate management information to increase operational effectiveness and efficiency. Assist in staff training and performance evaluation. About you A proactive and forward thinking individual who has a solid technical background and previous experience in a similar role, working closely with our head of digital you will be easily adaptable to various environments and be quick to form and maintain professional relationships. You will be degree qualified and be open to further training.
