Overview
Based on the outskirts of West Oxfordshire, our client is an established, family-run company. As a group of companies, they are a successful SME who continue to grow and provide premium products and services to the UK and beyond. To support a new direction, an experienced all-round Company Accountant is sought, reporting directly to the directors. Taking full responsibility for all areas of accounting with support of an outsourced firm who will finalise month and year-end reports. With responsibility for one member of staff, duties will include Reporting and maintaining cashflow Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets Companies House and annual filing for all companies Payment of Corporation Tax and VAT Maintaining HR records Payroll and Auto Enrolment Pensions Intercompany transactions Monthly management accounts Maintain fixed asset schedules You will need to be confident and use your own initiative, be adaptable and hit the ground running in this fast-moving business. Working in a portable office whilst new offices are being built, you will be resilient, hands on and down to earth. With excellent communication skills and a good eye for detail, this interesting business continues to grow. A car would be essential due to location.
