Interim Finance Business Partner - Manufacturing North Yorkshire Temp to Perm £250-£300 per day Join this leading manufacturing business in North Yorkshire in their Finance team where you will influence positive business change with a focus on efficiency and driving costs out of the business. You will be responsible for the operational reporting and analysis including wastage analysis, stock variances & labour cost analysis. The business would like someone to start immediately and could go permanent for the right candidate. Responsibilities: Clear and robust financial planning, and insightful reporting, providing a detailed understanding of business performance Provide timely and accurate financial analysis of performance Provide analysis of trends, and identify performance issues Provide fully explained of variance to Plan with concise commentary Align financial performance to Operational KPIs Complete financial evaluations/ costings of operational initiatives - ensuring robust measures are in place to report against for future post completion reviews Develop ways to improve transparency of numbers reported Build relationships between Finance and other areas of the business to identify areas where decision making can be effectively improved Cost control reviews with site management for materials and overheads expenditure. Keep the company systems up to date with product updates, new product launches, product costs, Labour and Overheads rates. Financial Control and Asset Management - Ensuring adequate controls are in place for the management of factory assets Budgeting and forecasting and accurate measurement of subsequent performance Scenario costing Wastage analysis and stock take reviews, reconciliation / creditor recs Labour Utilisation, reconciliation, resource management reporting - departmental analysis Maximising company assets through capacity & resource planning Produce Investment Appraisals and conduct post implementation reviews Capex etc costing and evaluations - holding stakeholders to account. Skills & Experience required: Ideally qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA or ACCA) with PQE Ideally you will have experience of working within Manufacturing, Food or FMCG businesses, although this is not essential Be able to demonstrate operation finance experience in a similar role Needs someone who is used to working in a fast paced environment.
