Overview
J, A & E Montgomery Ltd. Farms Skilled Operator Required to replace a retired member of a team of three on arable side of 1500 acre mixed farm in Somerset. This team carries out all tractor work on 900 acres of cropping and for two herds of 200 dairy cows each. The candidate’s duties will particularly involve all aspects of the practical management of 160 acres of potatoes. The ability to organise labour teams and prioritise work schedules an advantage. Good workshop skills and experience of practical repairs important. PA1 and PA2 required, as is material handler licence. A recently modernised 4 bedroom house is available if appropriate.
