Overview

HARSTON & DISTRICT VILLAGE WARDEN TRUST urgently needs to appoint one or more MOBILE WARDENS to join a small group of volunteers and share in helping to support elderly, infirm or disabled residents to live independently in their own homes in: Barrington, Harston, Hauxton, Newton, & Orwell The Mobile Wardens can expect to be working for 5-10 hours per week at a Salary of £10.00/hour plus mileage allowance The successful applicant(s) will be: • Sensitive to the needs of older and less able people, • Able to work independently on a day-to day basis within a job-share scheme, • Competent to deal with both the day-to-day care and occasional problems associated with this type of work. No formal qualifications are necessary; however, previous experience of working with similar groups of people would be an advantage. Training can be provided as necessary.
