Senior Enforcement Lawyer | Financial Regulatory Body | City of London A fantastic opportunity for a Senior Enforcement Lawyer has surfaced within an independent financial regulatory body in the UK and Ireland with a focus promoting integrity and transparency within businesses. This is an In-House Counsel position based at their central London office. The Role As the appointed Enforcement Lawyer, you will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary department alongside legal assistants, lawyers and forensic accountants in high-profile investigations. You will be the driving force behind the investigations, performing the following key responsibilities: Taking the lead role in any team cases Ensuring that paralegals, lawyers and accountants are working to the best of their abilities Liaising with experts and external solicitors on a regular basis You will additionally frequently liaise with experts and external solicitors and will run the preparation for the tribunal hearings. Candidate Requirements The ideal Enforcement Lawyer will possess: Substantial experience as a Solicitor or Barrister within a white-collar crime and/or regulatory and/or commercial litigation practice area Experience of team management Fantastic communication and relationship building skills What you'll get in return In exchange for your expertise, you will receive a salary of £80,000 - £105,000 p er annum and an excellent benefits package, inclusive of an annual leave package of 30 days the option to buy extra leave. They offer a generous pension contribution of 10% and a strong work/life balance.
