Data Analyst - 4 month contract - Exeter Your new company This social enterprise organisation exists to benefit the local communities it serves. It is run by healthcare professionals and owned by every GP practice in Devon. They have delivered urgent primary care in Devon to an exceptional standard for over 2 decades. Your new role You will be carrying out detailed analysis and report to support decision making, resourcing and delivery of projects. You will also provide support to the Information Manager and respond proactively and to deadlines to ad-hoc activity requests - including investigative reports, activity reports, and audits. Report automation - working with stakeholders to aid in the automation of information extracts and routine reports, bringing together various information source to provide detailed analysis. You will analyse complex and sensitive data, providing insight and interpretation of information that tads value and understanding for service managers and stakeholders. Be able to present data in an accessible format given the needs and skills of the recipient. What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this role, it is essential you have a strong knowledge of SQL to query the databases using Transact-SQL (T-SQL). You will also possess: Degree-level education or equivalent Comprehensive knowledge of Excel (e.g. Advanced formulas, tables and formatting, conditional formatting, pivot tables etc.) Knowledge of a range of statistical methods and an understanding of technical issues, including data capture, retrieval and processing Operational experience of working within an out of hours service is desirable but not essential Excellent written and verbal communication skills What you'll get in return An exciting opportunity to join a national organisation, helping to make a difference in the healthcare landscape.
