Overview
I am currently working with a succesfull Software House in Milton Keynes who are looking to grow their small but highly efficent Software Engineering team. The Java Engineer will play a crucial role of updating the current legacy platform on to a new Java microservie architected cloud platform. They are currently seeking a Senior Java Engineer as well as a Junior/Mid Java Engineer who is keen to progress their career forward with in Java Development. Primarirly you will be working with Java but you will have the opportunity grow your skill set and work with Front End Technologies such as Angular. The Java Engineer will develop features, deliver user stories and solve customer issues on the platform. Working on key architecture components evolving this in-line with product features. Striveing for operational excellence for customers on their (hosted and shared cloud) platforms. Key Skills and Attributes they are looking for: - Working experience with Core Java. - Strong understanding of the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud is also a bonus) - Experience with CI/CD pipelines. - Experience working on both web and desktop applications. - Experience building RESTful API's. - Beneficial if you have experience with Front End Technologies such as Angular. - Beneficial if you have experience with Docker & Kubernetes Remote working (1 - 2 days a week) Flexible working hours also available.
