Overview
Are you an experienced Care Assistant? Are you looking to work with a local authority and get paid up-to £10.50 per hour? Do you have a caring and compassionate nature? The role is working with adults and children with learning disabilities in a supported living environment within the Ely area. As a Care Assistant you will be a committed and caring individual with relevant experience of working in a social care setting in the UK. Shift patterns tend to be a mixture of earlies and lates across the week including weekends. What Randstad Care can offer: Opportunity for immediate start Access to a number of social care related e-learning modules training An excellent £300 candidate referral scheme The successful Care Assistant will be responsible for: Working effectively as part of a team Recognising and encouraging the rights of service users within all areas of their life and to assist them to make informed choices and decisions Working in a professional manner, meeting National Care Standards, setting appropriate boundaries In order to be considered for this post, you must have: Qualified to minimum SVQ Level 2 in Care or HNC in Social Care (Desirable) Minimum 6 months UK experience working within a care or education setting Up to date Manual Handling and First Aid training An adult and child DBS on the Updated service (desirable) A full 3 year work history If you have a desire to make a difference to the lives of others and have a hard working ethos, please submit your CV or contact Hannah Elliott on for a confidential discussion or further information.
