Financial Accountant £35k-£40k Manchester Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working in tandem with a large manufacturing growing business in Mancehster. Due to key sheer volume of work they are recruiting for another Financial Accountant to reinforce the Finance team. Important Note We' have agreed a process of interviewing, onboarding and induction that can be run in line with government guidelines via video and a virtual onboarding process as the client fully expects this role to be home based to begin with. The Role Reporting to the Financial Controller the tFinancial Accountant, will have have ownership for the Year End process for a couple of entities. Further Duties and Responsibilities Manage the Financial Accounting process including Year End statutory accounts. Provide assistance on any financial reporting challenges,dealing with external auditors This requires knowledge of IFRS - Outline and implement accounting process developments - Manage improvements in the control framework - Corporation Tax including capital allowances strategy - Provide business partnering for auditors and external tax consultants - Manage small team of 3 transactional staff What are we looking for? - ACCA or ACA preferably with a practice background. They will also consider qualified by experience if you have the right knowledge base - Demonstrate clearly previous ownership of the end to end year end process - Technically proficient accountant What is on offer?
