Outstanding opportunity for a Project Development Manager to continue to work on 'big-build' CAPEX projects whilst being able to utilise the advantages of working for a large corporation as far as self-betterment courses and further education. Client Details Industrial and Commercial Services company going through a period of growth and need a Project Development Manager with a background in CAPEX ideally from a factory perspective in order to aid in their continued success. Description The key responsibilities of the Project Development Manager are: Creating business development projects responding to improvement, optimisation and growth opportunities Manage and lead projects from the concept phase throughout the development phases to obtaining approval from project committee and Leadership Management Meeting The Project Development Manager will develop and prepare project briefs, strategies and delivery plans whilst interfacing with the Head of Performance Improvement and Optimisation, your team, project sponsor, operational heads, and internal stakeholders to correctly interpret the project requirements You'll oversee and develop all aspects of the project development in areas such as Health and Safety, Security, Technical, Operation, Permitting and Planning, Property, Legal, Insurance, Financial, Environmental and Sustainability Profile The ideal Project Development Manager will: Degree or equivalent in Engineering NEBOSH or Equivalent Track record of delivering projects from concept phase through project approval to commissioning, testing and handover to operation while meeting cost, quality and time parameters in waste management or related engineering field Proven experience of delivering the full life cycle of construction capital projects in the UK Strong commercial knowledge of Construction Contracts, NEC3/4 and IChemE forms of contracting Understanding of UK Contractor market and sound working knowledge of CDM regulations Structured and analytical approach to problem solving Knowledge of Contract procurement, environmental legislation, H&S legislation and planning regulationsFull UK Driving licence Job Offer Competitive salary, benefits package and opportunity for personal development
