Practice Accountant

Spencer Clarke Group are working closely alongside an independent firm of accountants based in North London to provide them a with a Practice Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. The practice currently has two fantastic opportunities available for qualified accountants / practice accountants to join their growing team. The successful candidates will be ACCA or ACA qualified with extensive experience of working within practice. These roles are varied roles working within an established firm that has a diverse client portfolio. One of the new hires which they are looking to take on do need to have audit experience and be confident to lead no more than 10 audits a year so if you have a solid audit background this role is definitely for you. The Practice Accountant will be responsible for: Managing a portfolio of clients Accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships and Limited Companies Producing self-assessment tax returns Preparation of corporation tax returns VAT returns Any other ad hoc duties Essential Requirements are: Proven experience from a practice background QBE or qualified candidates will be considered for this position Extensive experience working in a client facing role Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Strong IT Skills Experience of using Xero and Quickbooks software packages would be beneficial If you wish to be put forward for this role, please apply and contact Matt Byrne-Fraser Spencer Clarke group – WHY SPENCER CLARKE?
