Document Controller / Technical Author 2 Vacancies 4 Month Contract My Client is an Engineering Manufacture based in Basingstoke specialising in an electromechanical product, seeking 2 experienced Document Controller / Technical Author. As the appointed Technical Author / Document Controller you will be responsible for writing professional consistent/comprehensive technical installation, service documentation, specialist articles and user guides for a range of products - usually these documents are user-friendly and aimed at the consumer/end user a detailed technical understanding is essential. Main duties will include: Create and update high quality documents for systems designs, product documentation, new bids, operations and maintenance, training etc. Develop and maintain a comprehensive library of technical/project terminology, acronyms and documentation. Manage parallel document publication delivery against a priority burn-down list, communicating status on a regular basis. Analyse documents to maintain continuity of style of content. Manage updates, changes, defects, builds, revisions and releases to technical literature.
