The summary This is a new team requirement for 4 people inituially, 3 at this level with Level 1 support skills in infrastructure and cloud. Backhgrounds in Service Desk Desktop will be considered Our client is one of the worlds top global CSP's and has a successful UK Managed Services site in Caephilly (Nr Cardiff) as they look to grow their team. As an organisation, they support some of the UK’s largest enterprise organisations and have a reputation as being one of the best in the business with multiple Microsoft Partner of the Year Winner, awards and they are an Azure Expert MSP and an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner… you name it, they’re great at it What we’re looking for We are looking for confident, enthusiastic and motivated support person with server and virtualisation skills already under their belt, applicants from simple desktop EUC servcie desks with AD skills and a passion for tehcnology will also be considered. Joining as an infrastructure Support Engineer your career will be exciting, as oppportunities exist to train and certify, and to build and progress through your Microsoft certifications MCSA and you MS AZ (azure) exams From day one you will be involved with Server and Infrastructure issues, including on premise, cloud and you'll be truly able to accelerate your technical experience, pushing you to progress through the support team in project consulting or senior infrstructure roles in the future. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years IT support experience in a fast paced environment, coping well under pressure with a real drive to succeed you will need to be passionate about tehcnology and building your skills. Exposure to a diverse mix and client solutions and multi vendor technologies Working across the very latest Cloud technologies. Managing all support tickets Managing client communication Mix of Proactive and reactive incidents Building strong client relationships through excellent communication skills Work with internal departments to highlight client concerns and resolve incidents Enrol on a structured training plan to further develop career, moving to 2nd Line Ensure an effective assignment and escalation of incidents upto the level 3 support team You’ll be equipped with the latest in productivity and collaborative solutions designed to help you.
