Job Description The Display Screen Equipment (DSE)/Workstation Assessor is an important service in the occupational health team. Your role is to ensure that the employer is meeting their obligations under the Display Screen Equipment Act 1992. You will also provide support and advice to both the employee and employer to ensure that the workplace environment is safe and productive This position will be ideal for candidates who have recently graduated in but not limited to Physiotherapy, Occupational Health, Ergonomics or a in a similar related field. This is a permanent full time role working 37.5hrs per week. The attractive and competitive salary for this role is between £23,962 – £26,624 and will be dependent upon skills and experience. Duties & Responsibilities Deliver onsite workstation assessment services to clients. Undertaking workstation assessments for occupants at client sites, and ensuring that these assessments are suitable and sufficient for both the individual and the organisation. You will be expected to discuss and escalate cases to Occupational Health or government Access to Work Programme as necessary. Permanent base in London but will be required to travel throughout London and to regional offices across the UK (including but not limited to Bournemouth on a regular basis, Scotland and other non-London sites on an occasional basis to deliver these services. You are responsible for fielding enquiries and requests(via a variety of mediums) for workstation assessments and ensuring that the requests are managed in a timely fashion in accordance to relevant service level agreements (SLA) Produce timely and comprehensive reports based on the findings of your DSE Assessment in accordance to SLA. The findings of the assessments are also collated into a database both to provide a permanent record and enable management information to be extracted Production of relevant control and management reports and statistics as required.
