Overview

We’re currently recruiting for a Node.js Developer for our Battersea based tech client; one of the UK’s largest developers of front- line clinical systems and solutions within the UK healthcare sector. You'll join their dedicated AWS Cloud API team taking ownership for the quality and consistency of the APIs across all the company’s software products and linking in with 3 rd party providers. What will you be doing? This is an exciting opportunity to work in a small highly productive, self-organising Agile team, responsible for core service APIs. It’s a role which will see you working through the full delivery cycle, including test and deployment. You will have the opportunity to utilise the entire AWS Cloud technology stack, You will follow best practices for modern software development focused on the managed services and server-less technologies available on the AWS public cloud platform, delivering APIs on AWS including: Design/Documentation of REST services using OpenAPI 3.0 Implementation and Mocks in Javascript and Python Unit/Integration/Performance testing (Mocha, Chai, Sinon, Postman, Gatling) AWS configuration for CI/CD Other internet-facing documentation (Gatsby, markdown, HTML) What they’re looking for…. You’re comfortable with and have experience of working in a fast-paced and fluid Agile Scrum development environment, collaborating with colleagues as well as internal/external stakeholders. You’re naturally inquisitive, confident, with excellent communication skills.
