Embedded Linux Software Engineer

An electronics business in Woking require an Embedded Software Engineer with Linux experience to join them for a 6-month contract. Given the current CV-19 situation, you will be working remotely until the UK government communicates this isn't necessary. You will be working on an information system development for one of europe's leading coach vehicle companies. The company has developed a BETA version of the embedded system which has gone successfully. The end client has now asked for various enhancements and additional features to the current version, which means there is a lot of project task work to do. You will be joining a multi-disciplined R&D team (consisting of Software and Electronics Engineers) to help deliver the project on time. In this role you will be developing new code, with a lot of the work being Embedded C on Linux using the ARM Cortex micro.
