Software Developer Responsibilities Develop software to a high quality following the company's coding standards Unit test your work to ensure quality Work to deadlines and provide progress updates throughout the development Work as part of a development team, liaising with Testers, Project Managers and other Developers to deliver the full solution Contribute to the estimation and definition of the work that is required Follow the established Agile delivery methodology Gain a full working understanding of the business processes of our clients which require implementation Work closely with customer representatives and the internal development team to define appropriate acceptance criteria for each feature Software Developer Key Competencies & Requirements: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organisational skills, to include time management Ability to work independently with limited oversight and to work as part of a team Willingness, ability to self-learn and quickly adapt to new technologies, tools and working practises Self-motivated, proactive, enthusiastic and committed to a career in software development Software Developer Desired experience: Client facing experience Business Analysis and problem solving skills Working in an agile development environment Essential experience: C# SQL ASP.NET MVC JavaScript Desired Experience: Git RESTful APIs VSTS Octopus Deploy TypeScript Entity Framework/Entity Framework Core .NET Core KnockoutJS Angular 2 Xamarin If you would like more information about this opportunity then please don't hesitate to send through your CV today This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89908722
