RLE International is working on behalf of their Here East, Stratford, Essex based Automotive OEM Client, whom are currently looking Sentinel Hardware Engineer to join their expanding team within Mobility Platforms & Products Sentinel Hardware Engineer Lead the design and release of the Sentinel Hardware for programs alongside the supplier. Lead Sign Off testing (including owning testing and development plan) required to validate the hardware can meet the expectations of our CV customers globally. Support the Sentinel Machine Learning work stream with the integration of new sensors, capabilities and components into the hardware as part of a iterative development process. Foster the cross-functional relationships to deliver software and service offerings with Sentinel software product teams (Labs or external partners), utilizing Design Thinking and Agile development methodologies. Foster relationships with SVE, PD and supplier teams to develop a testing and launch strategy for the developed product and grow the product from proof of concepts and pilots to a sustained global product offering. Ensure close alignment and input into the team on site and elsewhere and their work on the future CV Ecosystem. Skills Required: Bachelors degree in Engineering Strong experience in hardware development Skills Preferred: Extensive experience in hardware design Proficiency in Engineering Disciplines (DFMEA, PFMEA, DVP&R, Tolerance Analysis, 8-D, etc.) Proficiency with PC software (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.) Proficiency in engineering computer systems (WERS, AIMS, GPIRS, AVBOM, eFDVS, etc.) Extensive background in component/system design, and analysis. User ability for CATIA CAD system Experience Required: Previous Experience working with GPDS model. Experience launching/developing hardware Experience Preferred: Working in an agile/iterative development environment. Working closely with a software development team to support their needs with hardware development. Education Required: Engineering to Bachelors Degree Level Additional Information Travel will be required to both the US and Turkey and possibly to visit suppliers globally.
