What we need We are actively seeking a Head of IT Service Management to be based in our Royston Office on a permanent basis. The Head of IT Service Management is accountable for delivering value-adding processes across all areas of operational IT service. This role will set the strategy for IT Service Management and lead a global team to deliver this strategy increasing the organizations levels of process maturity, compliance, quality and continuous improvement. The role is part of the Infrastructure and Operations leadership team and has a shared accountability for delivering great end-to-end service and the development of our people. Key responsibilities? The Head of IT Service Management is accountable for the following activities and others which may arise through the development of the role: Creating and running high quality, value-adding processes across JMIT in the areas of: Service Quality including Change Management and Knowledge Management Service Design and Transition Asset Management and Optimisation Service Compliance and Continuity Building and leading a globally located team that will deliver service management processes, tools and reporting capabilities to JM. Engage successfully with senior leaders across the IT function to increase the role and value of Service Management Sponsorship and leadership of our Service Management process & tool projects to replace our current legacy ITSM platform with a new solution with associated business and process change Member of the Infrastructure & Operations leadership team. Work with other members of this team to ensure we are delivering great customer service, push for continuous improvement across the team and support the move to a global operating model. Deputize for the Infrastructure & Operations Director in matters such as risk and audit management, change approvals, service transition and new policy and process development. As a member of the global JM-IT community you will be a champion of the function’s values and culture, while demonstrating and openly encouraging the behaviours expected from a professional, best in-class IT Are you the ideal candidate? You will have: Extensive experience in service delivery, client management and management of third parties in the delivery chain Demonstrable IT and business work experience with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments and business segments Demonstrated breadth and in-depth knowledge of IT service delivery, Service continuity, ITIL processes and tools Broad understanding of the current and emerging technology trends, service management and compliance and risk frameworks in a complex global multi-vendor environment Excellent communication skills.
