Lead Infrastructure Engineer Salary: £50,000 - £75,000 Additional Benefits Location: Cheltenham (Travel to various sites) Must be eligible for SC and DVUKIC Clearance A leading global security Aerospace and Defence Technology Company who are looking for a Lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer on a permanent basis with a primary focus on supporting systems and maintenance, deployment of custom software in line with the release schedules,incident management, vendor escalation and supporting your software development team. Experience of working within Software Development teams, including DevOps practices, would be advantageous. Key Skills: Extensive experience of Linux administration (preferably CentOS) Extensive experience of Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure Experience of transitioning existing workloads to public cloud solutions Experience of IP networking, including OSPF routing, subnets & VLANs Experience of configuration management tooling, such as Puppet & Ansible Experience of cloud automation using CloudFormation or Terraform Experience of automation using Bash, PowerShell or Python Experience of working within high-security environments Experience of technical leadership or team management Desirable Technical Skills: Configuration of routers and firewalls Experience with VMWare technologies DevOps approaches and associated tools such as BitBucket, Ansible, Jenkins & Docker Containerisation using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes Experience in using agile collaboration tooling, for example Jira and Confluence Knowledge of Scrum-based Agile Delivery Knowledge of ITIL based Service Management This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89910001
