Overview
Circle Health is excited to advertise for a new senior Nurse Consultant to clinically lead our new Community Dermatology service. This is a new role which has been developed. This full-time post is pivotal to the development of our dermatology service to meet the needs of our population. We are looking to employ a senior, experienced dermatology nurse with a proven record of leadership, change management and innovation. The role will involve independent autonomous clinical practice and oversight of a patient caseload. In addition, we would want the post holder to take a strategic lead on developing and expanding our services. This is an exciting opportunity to develop and drive forward a new service within the company, whilst delivering high quality innovative care. Role & Responsibilities: You will exercise advanced clinical expertise, levels of judgement, discretion and decision making in clinical care. You will provide advanced clinical skills and advice demonstrating a sound understanding of the issues related to the identification, assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of patients with chronic skin disease. You will monitor and lead improvements to standards of care through; supervision of practice, clinical audit, evidence based practice, the teaching and supporting of professional colleagues and the provision of skilled professional leadership. You will lead the chronic disease management service and will manage a team of nurses.
