Training Programme Social Work Start Date: July 2020 Salary : Year 1: Tax exempt bursary of £18k Year 2: Salary of £25k to £30k dependent on location. Locations : West Midlands – Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Telford, Warwickshire East Midlands – Derbyshire, Nottingham, Leicester North East – Middlesbrough, Hartlepool, North Yorkshire – Richmond and Scarborough, County Durham Application Deadline : 30th March 2020 - applications may close before this in some areas so early applications are encouraged Our two-year leadership development programme offers outstanding individuals a dynamic route into one of Britain’s most rewarding and toughest professions. Following a five-week training programme you will spend two years working directly with children and families, based in a local authority. You will: Work locally – roles available in your local community Be paid a tax free £18k bursary in year one and up to £30k in year two Qualify as a social work professional through a fully funded Masters Receive high quality supervision and training from experienced social workers, academics and professional coaches Make a real difference in your local community.
