Due to continual expansion we are recruiting Support Workers for a specific Supporting Living Setting in Gloucester. This service consists of 6 adults with Autism who can present challenging behaviours therefore experience is essential. We can offer block bookings, a mixture of early, late, long days and waking nights. We will provide a MAPA training course for all successful candidates to attend before commencement of employment to ensure the necessary skills are in place. This is a fantastic opportunity to expand your experience especially on dealing with challenging situations. It also enables to you pick and choose the hours you wish to work. Your role will be to support residents with their individual needs and to realise their maximum potential. Responsibilities of Support Workers Include: To support residents with varied and complex disabilities to maintain their health and wellbeing while they enjoy and achieve to their potential. To deliver all aspects of personal care in line with CQC and care plans including washing, dressing, oral, toileting and feeding. To plan quality leisure activities, organise and support. To communicate effectively. To ensure all records and documentation are accurate and maintained.
